Cap3 is a community that selects, funds, and profits with new Web3 projects.

Cap3 collects new Web3 project ideas that are currently seeking $100,000 of seed capital. Ideas with the most potential are passed along to the community, which chooses two projects per month to receive capital from the DAOFund™ treasury. Selected projects will receive project management and strategic assistance during their build phase from Cap3. Upon launch, selected projects will share 30% of their initial mint revenue with the community, as well as exclusive access for the community to buy before the project is made available to the public.

The community DAOFund™ will be created with $1M from the initial sale of the Subscription Pass memberships. At the end of each Season, the renewal of Subscription Pass memberships will replenish the community DAOFund™ for the next 10 approved projects.

Profit sharing from the initial mint, automatic whitelist inclusion for a members-only presale, and the opportunity to share in the ongoing secondary market royalties of projects launched by Cap3.

Membership into the community is obtained by minting a Genesis or Subscription Pass. Community members will have the ability to vote to fund Web3 project ideas and share in their profits short and long term profits without taking equity.

Cap3 Collective members share in the profits and royalties of projects funded by the community. They don’t take equity like traditional capital providers, which means the project founders retain 100% ownership.

Yes. Our platform has traditional capital providers available to fund Web3 projects in all stages and all use cases. The DAOFund™ is focused solely on seed-stage projects. Think of Cap3 Collective as a one-stop-shop to submit your project to a wide variety of capital providers. Traditional capital providers have free access to the platform just like capital seekers.

Cap3 Collective has been vetted by our lawyers for compliance with applicable State and Federal laws through the entire build process and will continue to be retained and advise on all future matters to ensure ongoing compliance.

Cap3 will immediately hire additional project managers and strategists to assist with the oversight and launch of successfully funded projects. Improving and updating the Cap3 UX as the community begins to operate will also be an early priority. Ongoing legal and operational expenses to keep Cap3 Collective fully compliant with State and Federal regulations will be a significant and constant cost.

Approved projects will receive project management and strategic services from Cap3, as well as general oversight to ensure responsible use of funds and the promised rev share to be sent back to the community upon the launch of their smart contract. Projects will also have access to Cap3’s network of blockchain and web developers, marketers, content creators, and more.

Cap3 has filed a trademark application with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for the term “DAOFund”.

The name “Cap3 Collective” comes from the idea of combining venture capital, Web3, and the concept of a collective that makes decisions together.
